Employee Spotlight: Heidi Wolff

May 14, 2019

A graduate from Colorado State University, Heidi comes to M&M with 15+ years of sales experience focused on a consultative approach and project management. As one of M&M’s newest Work Space Consultants, Heidi overcomes challenges by staying focused on the positives and keeping the end in mind goal.

How long have you worked at M&M and why did you choose to work here?

I’ve been with M&M for 9 months. I chose to work here because of the people and my shared personal/work values that align with M&M and Haworth.

How do you overcome challenges that come along with being a newer employee in the furniture sales industry?

I overcome challenges in this industry by staying focused on the positives and keeping the end in mind goal. I try and stay in learning mode to gain knowledge through M&M tools, resources, Haworth and other team members.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy being able to connect with others in different environments who value people, well-being, aesthetics, culture, and productivity for their company. I also enjoy developing client relationships and knowing that I am adding value to a decision making process.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?

I played women’s collegiate tennis and still play. I do not like the sound of Styrofoam and I will never eat at a Golden Coral restaurant again – way too many trips there with my college tennis team!

What is your proudest accomplishment outside of work?

Outside of work my proudest accomplishment is being a mom to 3 children who help keep things into perspective and give me true purpose.

What are your favorite activities/hobbies to do outside of work?

I have a lot of interests. I like cooking healthy, tasty food for friends and family. Currently, my ongoing project is my home and garden. I enjoy practicing yoga and biking, as well as playing tennis and golf. I also enjoy alpine skiing in the mountains.

If you were to win the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

If I won, I wouldn’t tell anyone – if that’s possible. I have a few charities/organizations that I support, as well as some home projects I’d fund. I’d then go back to Norway to visit my friend!
