What do you enjoy most about your role as a Marketing Coordinator?
I’m a very creative type. The day to day can get stressful and sometimes when we are in the middle of a bid or planning for a presentation it can feel chaotic, but when I finish a big project – whether it’s a bid or a case study or a Ceros experience – seeing the finished product and how well it turned out is always an amazing feeling. I think artistic endeavors always feel best when you finish them and look back at what you accomplished. It’s nice to know that any hiccups and headaches were worthwhile.
What is your proudest moment at M&M?
Probably redoing the website last year. It needed a face lift, mobile compatibility, and some SEO optimization. It was a huge, months long project with a few rounds of edits and changes. It definitely ate up a lot of my time, but when it was finished it felt amazing to see something so large come together like that. Redesigning our truck wraps would be a close second. It always brings me a smile when I see them on the road.
What advice would you give to someone looking to pursue a career in Marketing?
Never stop learning and adapting. This industry changes and advances rapidly. Things I thought were important 5 years ago got thrown out the window for newer, cooler, more innovative things. Basically, never get too comfortable. Never stop growing. You’ll get left behind.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
Kawa Ramen & Sushi on the East Side. Hands Down. It’s Amazing. (That being said I’m a huge foody so shout outs to Balzac, Ristorante Bartolotta, Fresh Fin, La Masa, and Le Rêve too. 😉 )
What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I’m majorly into gaming of almost all types card games, board games, table top games, video games, bar games. I love healthy low stakes competition and how it brings people together. Social gaming is the best.
